Junior Hunger Fighters Camp: The Next Generation of Hunger Fighters!
Stark County Hunger Task Force is happy to announce its Junior Hunger Fighter Camp. Funded by the Summertime Kids Grant, through Stark Community Foundation, Junior Hunger Fighters Camp aims to train the next generation of Hunger Fighters. Junior Hunger Fighters Camp will educate children on hunger in their community through various projects, arts and crafts, and other hands on activities. Junior Hunger Fighters Camp will also give its participants the tools to organize food drives in their communities. These sessions will be organized and run by Stark County Hunger Task Force staff and volunteers who have a background in education or child development. The camp is free of charge. Parents/guardians are not required to attend. Junior Hunger Fighters Camp will take place at the Ken Weber Community Campus at Goodwill at 408 9th St. SW, Canton, OH 44707 from Monday, July 30th-August 1st from 1pm-4pm. A snack will be provided on each day of camp. Children ages 6-17 are eligible to enroll. If you have multiple children attending, please fill out the form for each child attending. We will contact you with our informational packet after we receive your form.
