Dear Friends and SCHTF Supporters,
My journey with the Stark County Hunger Task Force (SCHTF) began in 2012. As the years passed, the organization grew in many aspects: its support to our pantries, in the amount of pantries in our network, the ability to bring more food into Stark County and most importantly the amount of people we serve. It has been a great pleasure to serve as the Executive Director for almost 5 years accomplishing these increases, helping now close to 30,000 individuals each month with an emergency supply of food, collaborating on projects with many, many wonderful non-profits, businesses, radio stations, etc and with working with you.
It is always sad to say goodbye, especially because this position has taught me invaluable skills and is such a blessing to so many and to the strength of our community as a whole. My last day with the SCHTF will be January 6, 2017.
The Stark County Hunger Task Force has formed a search committee and will be looking for my replacement and then the hire of a Director of Development. Until that person is selected, Ralph Norton, our assistant director, will step up as interim executive director and can be reached at 330-455-6667 ext 1114 or at ralph@starkhunger.org.
