In recognition of National Hunger and Homelessness Awareness month, every November, The Stark County Hunger Task Force observes “Hunger Awareness Month,” or H.A.M. for short. In the spirit of Thanksgiving, Hunger Awareness Month is a time set aside to focus on gratitude, generosity, and education.

Organize a food drive! We are looking for individuals, organizations, and businesses to organize food drives. We serve over 29,000 food insecure Stark County residents a month through our pantry network, as well as 1,500 local children through our Backpack for Kids Program.
