YOU can provide fresh, nutritious produce to hungry neighbors in Stark County.
Are you a gardener? Do you love working with your hands and nurturing even the tiniest of plants? Would you like to share those talents with others? Then you’ve come to the right place! The Stark County Hunger Task Force invites local residents to share their green thumb this spring with our Plant Something Green campaign.
- Designate a row, or particular, individual plants to grow for hunger
- Donate any surplus produce to the SCHTF throughout the season
- Grow “Stark Hope” by involving your friends and family, or joining a community garden
- Spread the word and keep us updated on your efforts by using the #starkhopegrows hashtag on social media
If you would consider planting “Something Green” to support our mission — alleviating hunger in Stark County — one in every four children may not wake up hungry. Even better, that child will have access to healthy, fresh produce. Your generosity makes a difference!
Plant. Grow. Harvest. Share Your Bounty.
