The 2014 Food For the People Car Raffle is HERE—again!

 

The Stark County Hunger Task Force is proud to announce this year’s Food For the People Car Raffle, brought to you by the generosity of Progressive Chevrolet. Tim and Craig Sanders have again donated a brand-new, re-designed 2014 Chevy Impala that could be yours! All proceeds go directly towards fighting local hunger. What is there to lose?

30 lucky semi-finalists will be drawn in July, August, and September — will you be one of them?

ONLINE Ticket sales are not available after 9/23/14.  Purchase your tickets at Quaker Steak and Lube until 7pm on September 24th.

HOW IT WORKS:

When you buy a raffle ticket, you will write your name, address, phone number, and email in the fields provided. That stub gets dropped into a raffle entry box, and then goes into the ticket hopper, where it will stay for the duration of the raffle. SCHTF will hold three separate drawings in July, August, and September. In all, the names of 30 semi-finalists will be pulled. They will be invited to gather with us on October 7th at Progressive Chevrolet for the grand finale drawing. Nobody walks away without a prize, but the last name left in the hopper will win a gorgeous new car!Wait! There is a twist this year–a scavenger hunt the week of August 11th will allow one winner to be placed into that final drawing on October 7th @ Progressive Chevrolet.

*DRAWING DATES:

• 1st DRAWING: July 24th “Christmas in July” guest bartending event at the Arcadia Grille, from 5pm-8pm.
• 2nd DRAWING: August 29th (only 9 drawn here due to the #IDriveOutHunger Scavenger Hunt*)
• 3rd DRAWING: September 24th at Quaker Steak and Lube’s Bike Night.

*1 semi-finalist will qualify when they win our August scavenger hunt, the #IDriveOutHunger Scavenger Hunt, Aug 12-15th. The first participant to each location on the 12th, 13th and 14th will enter the final hunt on August 15th. The winner of the August 15th scavenger hunt will advance to the FINAL PULL at Progressive Chevrolet on October 7th. No ticket purchase required. Must be 18 years of age and have a valid driver’s license.
